Robert and I were good friends for a period of time when we both lived in Greenville, NC. We saw one another through some of those tough experiences of young adulthood. But mostly I remember fun times hanging out at local swimming holes and cooking up all the delicious fish he would catch and bring home to the house we shared with other roommates. He would cook the fish and I would do the slaw and hushpuppies. Such good eating! He was one of the most loyal and kind friends I've ever had. I'm so glad that life brought him the happiness he deserved. Taken too soon. My condolences and love go out to his family, especially his sister, and my HS classmate, Ann.
