Abuelita…my ”ayoya”….you have built a beautiful legacy. You’ve raised your 3 daughters to be hard-working, headstrong, and passionate women. And they have passed down that legacy to your grandchildren, and we continue to pass down to your great grandchildren. We will always cherish the memories we have each made with you. I always knew when I would look out from the stage, that you would be sitting there as I played the violin and sang in the choir. You never missed a concert and the love for Andrea Bocelli and Luciano Pavarotti was one we both shared. Although I couldn’t make it in person before you passed, I spoke to you and told you how much I love you through FaceTime. I felt honored to watch you take your final breathe, knowing in my heart you were reunited with your mother, father, and siblings who have passed. Hopefully you didn’t give Grandpa too hard of a time before embracing him as well! I love you always and I promise to continue instilling the qualities you have taught me throughout my life. To love with your whole heart, work hard, and above all, be there for your family always. I love you and I will always miss you.
