Obituary of John Thomas Czere, Jr.

John Thomas Czere, Jr. of Rockledge, passed away on Friday, April 21, 2023.

John was born in New Brunswick, NJ on June 15, 1940. His mom and dad moved to New Smyrna, FL when John was 10.

John worked for GE at Patrick Air Force Base (formerly RCA) for the MTP program for 25 years. He then went to work at Kennedy Space Center for USBI and it became United Space Alliance. He worked in Safety and retired 13 years ago after the last shuttle launch. John had many hobbies fishing, reading, and model trains just to mention a few. He stayed retired for a couple of months and then started a video (which was one of his hobbies) business; he finally retired 3 years ago. 

John was preceded in death by his parents, John Thomas, Sr. and Monica, and his daughter, Melissa Jean. He is survived by his wife, Susan (Lacyznski); son, John Thomas Czere, III; his grandson, John Patrick Perschke; and his great-granddaughter, Adria Melissa Perschke.
 

Visitation on May 9 starting at 10:00 am followed by a Funeral Mass will be held at St. Mary's Church, Rockledge FL at 11:00 am.

Burial will take place on Wednesday the 10th at the Daytona Memorial Park 1425 Bellevue Ave. Daytona Beach, FL 32114 at 1:00 pm.
