Obituary of Joseph "Joe" Romot

Joe passed away peacefully on Saturday,  April 1^st at home from a long illness at the age of 81.

He was born in Jersey City, NJ on February 21, 1942.

He is survived by his wife of 40 years, Christine, son John (Aly) Romot of Ohio, son Brian (Neeta) Romot of Tampa , granddaughter’s Kareena, Aavya, Sameera, Gloria and Emma and a brother Bob Romot of New Jersey.  

He is preceded in Death by his parents Joseph and Sophie Romot and brother George Romot.

Joe was known for his wonderful disposition in life, always quick with a joke and a smile on his face.

He is an Army veteran, serving in Germany during the Vietnam War.

He worked for Harris Corporation for 26 years and Northrop Grumman for 10 years as a Financial Analyst.

In lieu of flowers donations can be made to Sun Coast Hospice of Hillsborough County and Wounded Warrior.

A Mass of Christian burial will be on Tuesday April 11 at 11:30 AM at St Joseph Catholic Church,  5330 Babcock St NE,  Palm Bay, Fl.  Internment will take place at St Joseph Cemetery following the Mass.
