Obituary of Prudencio Marrero Nunez

Always in Our Hearts

Prudencio Marrero Nuñez, well known as “Prudo”, 89 years old. Our Dad passed away peacefully on February 28, 2023 at Williams Childs Hospice House in Palm Bay, Florida.

He was born on November 27, 1933 in Ciales, Puerto Rico. His parents were Angel Marrero and Laura Nuñez. He was one of 11 siblings. Married to Mercedes Fermaint, from that union procreated Dharma Marrero, Mildred Marrero, and Norman Marrero.

He proudly served in the U.S. Army and worked in the banking industry until he retired. He enjoyed traveling and being with his family and playing Dominoes. He is survived by his 3 children, 8 grandchildren, and 10 great-grandchildren. He was a loving father to Dharma and Cesar Guzman, Mildred and Antonio Santos, Norman and Provi Marrero.

We are thankful for the care that Mildred and Antonio during his last six years gave to him.

Also, we would like to thank William Childs Hospice House and the staff for their care and compassion for our dad.
