Colleen and I were married 1965 in her home, Wheeling, West Virginia. We then lived in Ringwood, New Jersey, until the time of our separation in 1978 and divorce a year later. I was the pastor of the Ringwood Community Presbyterian Church. Colleen was active in the church and very supportive of me as pastor. Together we had many friends there, most all of them like ourselves, young couples with children. We had good times. In those years, Colleen was also active as a fine artist and member of the Ringwood Manor Association of the Arts. In the early 1970s she entered into business and found she was very good at it. She was. She was a bright and strong person, her personality sparkling. She animated any room where she was. I also enjoyed her family, her parents and brothers from Wheeling. And one summer, 1966, Colleen and I took an extensive trip, driving in England, Wales, and up to Scotland to visit three great-aunts of hers from her mother's family. All of which is to say we enjoyed one another's company. We remained in correspondence in the intervening years, in association with our son Tom but also the two of us, remembering holidays or anniversaries and exchanging greetings. I think of our son Tom now, and her brother Ian and the nephews and niece. Held in love. Robert Stuart
