I was so very sorry to hear of Carlos's passing. He was truly a Marine's Marine. Enjoyed our time together at the American legion post 117 during the Marine Corps birthday celebrations. He would wear his uniform and I would tell him how pretty he looked in his blues. As the song goes, you will find the streets are guarded by United States Marines. The bad news is Carlos, you have guard duty tonight. RIP my friend and Semper Fi M/Sgt John S Carlson USMC. Retired
