Obituary of Edgardo Montanez

Edgardo Montañez, 71, of Palm Bay, Florida passed away on November 29, 2022, surrounded by his family, in Palm Bay, Florida. He was born on May 18, 1951, in New York, New York to Juan and Emelina Montañez.

Edgardo is survived by: his mother Emelina Montañez, daughter Jennifer Montañez, son Edgardo Montañez Jr., daughter Lisette Corrao; grandchildren: Brandon, Jasmine, Alex, Alyssa, Abree, and Alianna; siblings, Juan and Carlos.

He was preceded in death by his wife and first love Migdalia Montañez and his father Juan Montañez.

Edgardo retired from the United States Air Force after 24 years of service. Throughout his life, he was always a devoted and loving husband, father, and grandfather. He always saw the positive in everything and encouraged us all not to worry about the little things that happen along the way in life. His love and guidance to both friends and family will truly be missed but never forgotten.

The family will receive friends at Ammen Family Cremation & Funeral Care 950 Malabar Road SE, Palm Bay on Wednesday, December 14, 2022. Viewing from 10:00 AM - 12:00 PM followed by services. The interment will be at 10:30 AM at Cape Canaveral National Cemetery on Thursday, December 15, 2022.
