Obituary of Donna Sue Acevedo Quijada
We regretfully announce the passing of Donna Sue Acevedo Quijada of Palm Bay Florida on November 30, 2022. Donna was surrounded by her family and passed away peacefully.
Our mother, Donna, was one of the strongest women to ever walk this earth and our family was blessed to have her as the head of the family. Donna graduated from Mercer County Community College and later return to college to study photography. After graduating, she went on to pursue a career as a corrections officer. Over the years she was a caretaker for many of her friend's and family's children. Some of the things she loved the most were making beautiful blankets custom just for the person it was going to, spending time with her family whether it be traveling going out to eat, shopping, the springs. She also loved to take pictures, arts and crafts, dancing and just being surrounded by people she loved.
Donna was a wonderful and loving mother who gave her all to her family. We will never be able to fill the space left behind by her.
Donna was predeceased by her parents Lois Garcia, Charles Psalto, stepfather Ralph Garcia, sister Victoria Psalto, niece Patricia Rodriguez, son in law Carlos Villamar. Donna is survived by her children Fernando Castillo, DeAnna Acevedo, Joseph Acevedo, Diliana Acevedo, daughter-in-law Megan Episcopo, son-in-law Joel Flowers, grandchildren Dominic Acevedo Melendez, RJ Episcopo, Malena Villamar-Acevedo, Leila Villamar-Acevedo, Ja'Mir Flowers- Acevedo, Xsavior Villamar-Acevedo, Anthony Castillo, Kamryn Flowers step mother Bertie Elayne Senft, ex-husband Jose Acevedo, siblings Tina Torres, Ricardo Garcia, Judith Patton, Phil Garcia, Ginger Rodriguez Chuck Psalto, Charlene Bodine-Thaler and many nieces, nephews.
