Obituary of Steve D Apostel

Steve Apostel, a most humble and loving warrior, passed away November 18, 2022 into the loving arms of his Savior Jesus, after a 7 1/2 year journey with multiple- myeloma cancer. He was born in San Francisco, California to Heinz K. and Betty (Davis) Apostel, and resided in Indialantic, FL.

Steve is survived by his wife of 36 years Giselle Apostel; son Shawn Apostel (Kristi); grandchildren Siri, Hina, Elizabeth, Anthony; his sisters Jane and Carol, and many extended family members and loving friends. He was preceded in death by his daughter, Sarah Apostel Bentley, his eldest sister Ann Apostel and his parents.

He loved the Lord, his family, and his yorkie, who was his special buddy, Sundance. He was always thankful for his time at Hope Lutheran Church, Melbourne, FL.

John 5:24 "Truly, truly, I say to you, whoever hears my word and believes Him who sent me has eternal life. He does not come into judgment, but has passed from death to life."

Micah 7:7 "Therefore I will look unto the Lord. I will wait for the God of my salvation. My God will hear me."

Memorial service will be held at Faith Viera Lutheran Church, 5550 Faith Dr., Rockledge, FL, 32955, on Saturday December 17, 2022 at 11:00 AM. A catered lunch will be provided immediately following the service on site in the fellowship hall.

Paddle Out at Paradise Beach on Sunday, December 18, 2022 at 8:00 A.M..

Celebration of Life in Atlanta, GA TBD in the early summer 2023 for those who cannot attend services in Florida.
