Obituary of Diane Marie Bradley (Schultz)
Diane Schultz Bradley, 77, of Melbourne, Florida, passed away peacefully surrounded by her loved ones on Tuesday, October 4th, 2022, at Melbourne Regional Medical Center in Melbourne, Florida. She was born Monday, July 23, 1945, in Longbranch, New Jersey. Shortly after, her parents moved her family to Florida; Florida has been her home for 75 years.
Diane is survived by her loving daughter Renee Bradley Alfrey and son-in-law Brian Alfrey of Melbourne; son Floyd Bradley Jr.; grandchildren Diane Alfrey and Desiree Alfrey and Marissa and Jonathan McDonald; also 5 great-grandchildren Jessilynn (JJ) Alfrey, Cristian and Oliver McDonald, and Kyndell and Wesley Hawn; and three brothers Nicholas Schultz, Edward Schultz (Patricia) and Ronald Schultz (Becky); and a host of other family members and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents William and Catherine Schultz; sisters Joan Schultz Ebert and Kathleen Schultz Queen; and daughter Rhonda Bradley McDonald.
Diane was a woman of all trades. She was a loving mother, nana, great-nana, sister, and friend. She enjoyed building homes in her earlier years, then running an apartment complex for upwards thirty years. She loved gardening and plants and many would say she had a green thumb. She enjoyed traveling and seeing different parts of life, from the view of the Grand Canyon, to the lights shining on the Eiffel Tower, to the changing of the leaves in the Carolinas to the strip of Vegas. Yet, most of all she enjoyed spending time with her loving family. She was the best mother, best friend, and best nana anyone could have asked for. For the ones she loved, she would do anything for them. Many would say Diane was one of a kind, with her mannerisms, to her beautiful caring personality. In her mid years, she donated her times to the Make A Wish Foundation, making homemade spaghetti and plates every Thursday night and all proceeds went to the Make A Wish Foundation. Diane made a forever lasting impression on everyone she met, and she will be incredibly missed and loved by all.
