Obituary of Frank J. DiGilio

Frank J. DiGilio,  age 76, of Palm Bay, Florida, died peacefully at Holmes Regional Medical Center on October 4, 2022. Frank was born on July 2, 1946, in New York City, NY.  After completing high school in Bayside, NY, he enlisted in the US Navy and proudly serviced aboard the Guided Missile Cruiser, USS Albany CG-10.  While serving in the Navy, Frank obtained the rank of Communications Yeoman Petty Officer Third Class.  After being Honorably discharged, he pursued a career in the hotel industry in New York City.   In 1998, he relocated to Palm Bay, FL, where he enjoyed riding his bicycle, taking long walks, and attending Catholic Church services.  Frank was a very devout Catholic and financially supported many charities. 

Frank was preceded in death by his beloved parents, Frank and Margaret (Duffy) DiGilio, and his beloved brothers Joseph DiGilio, Johnny DiGilio, Gerard DiGilio, and Anthony Rigazio-DiGilio. He is survived by his siblings Margaret (Peggy) Cavallo of Cobleskill, NY, and her husband Frank, Virginia DiGilio of San Leandro, CA, Andrew DiGilio of Rochester, NH, and his wife MaryAnn, Maryanne Riggin of Middletown, MD and Christina Gummerman of Scardale, NY and her husband Bill, sisters in law Sandra Rigazio-DiGilio and Linda DiGilio.  Frank is also remembered by his best friend of over 50 years, Jose Manuel Ayala of Palm Bay, FL, and many cousins, nieces, nephews, great nieces and nephews, and one great, great nephew.  Frank was a kind and loving son, brother, uncle, and friend and was loved by many. 

Arrangements are being made by Ammen Family Cremation and Funeral Care in Palm Bay, Florida.

A Catholic Service will be held on Wednesday, November 2, 2022, at Ammen Family Cremation and Funeral Care 950 Malabar Road SE, Palm Bat at 10:30 A.M. followed by internment at Cape Canaveral National Cemetery.
