Obituary of Francesco (Frank) Casiglia

Francesco (Frank) Salvatore Casiglia, Jr., 71 of Sebastian, Florida passed away on September 13, 2022, and will always remain in our hearts and prayers. Frank was born in Brooklyn, NY and moved with his family to Long Island, NY where he spent most of his years. Frank was a loving, devoted husband and soulmate to his wife, Debra Casiglia. Together, they moved from Long Island, NY and made their home in Sebastian, Fl.

As a proud US Navy veteran, he was a strong supporter of veterans’ groups, both local and national. He spent most of his career working for the Suffolk County Child Support Enforcement Bureau. He moved on to become Secretary of the Suffolk County Association for Municipal Employees (SCAME), which is the largest independent municipal employee union in Suffolk County, NY. Frank eventually retired in the position of Executive Vice President. He was an avid golfer and played for the benefit of numerous organizations.

Frank was preceded in death by his parents, Francesco and Marie Casiglia. He leaves behind his loving wife, Debra; daughter Lorraine Gallagher (Joseph), grandchildren Kelsey, Hanna, Matthew and Anthony Gallagher, sister MaryAnn Rosso, nephews Edward (Anita) and John (Kanako) Rosso, nieces Jennifer, Ashlei and Elizabeth Rosso, sister-in-law Toni Ann Sozio, many cousins, dear friends and his beloved yellow Labrador, Amber.

Frank was very supportive of veterans and animal rescue. In lieu of flowers, donations may be sent in his memory to any of the following organizations:

A celebration of Frank’s life will take place on Friday, October 7, 2022, at 10:00 am at St. Sebastian R.C. Church, 13075 US-1, Sebastian, Florida 32958.
