You came into my life when I really needed a friend. I wasn't in Texas very long and missed NY so much, and then there you were just a few houses down from me. My husband worked crazy hours and you, me, and my son, Steven, who you stayed in touch with all these years had some enjoyable times. Partners in crime. You loved animals, and children, and your laugh was contagious. We stayed in touch, even before the internet, but Facebook made it easier. You were there for me during my trial with breast cancer. I just wish I was able to be of comfort during your struggle. I will think of you often, I'm sure, and still laugh about my son on the floor of Toy's R Us crying, "I want everything", which was one of your favorite moments to bring up. I was just telling your husband I have so many things I want to say to you, and he said, "say them, she is listening." That is exactly what I am going to do.
