Obituary of Angel Batista Caraballo
Angel Batista Caraballo died on August 29th, 2022, in Palm Bay, FL. He was born on September 29th, 1941, in Tanama, Adjuntas in Puerto Rico. He was one of fourteen siblings of Santo Batista and Ana Caraballo.
At the age of 27 he married Marianna Perez and they moved to Connecticut. They moved to Palm Bay in 1993 and bought a house then he started his career at the Melbourne Airport as a janitor.
In 2008 he had a stroke and since then he was confined to a wheelchair and has resided at the Palms Rehabilitation Center. He recently was fighting kidney disease and was undergoing dialysis.
Tio Angel (as everyone knows him by) was a big family man. He would always ask about everyone no matter what he was going through. He was always thinking about his brothers and sisters and all his nieces and nephews. Some of his nieces and nephews called him grandpa. Tio use to love Parrandas and playing his favorite instrument called a “Cuatro”.
Angel is predeceased by his wife of 32 years Marianna Perez. He is survived by his brothers Enrique Batista, Lerner Batista, Neftali Batista, Eloino Batista, Daniel Batista and Juan Batista. He is also survived by his sisters Ana Rosa Batista, Elida Batista, and Elsie Batista, and numerous nephews and nieces.
A memorial service will be held on Friday, September 9, 2022, at Ammen Family Cremation & Funeral Care 950 Malabar Road SE Palm Bay, FL., with public viewing from 5:00 P.M. to 8:00 P.M.

Ángel Batista Caraballo murió el 29 de agosto de 2022 en Palm Bay, FL. Nació el 29 de septiembre de 1941 en Tanama, Adjuntas en Puerto Rico. Fue uno de los catorce hermanos de Santo Batista y Ana Caraballo.
A la edad de 27 años se casó con Marianna Pérez y se mudaron a Connecticut. En el 1993 se mudaron a Palm Bay y compraron una casa y luego comenzó su carrera en el aeropuerto de Melbourne como conserje.
En 2008 tuvo un derrame cerebral y desde entonces estuvo confinado a una silla de ruedas y ha residido en el Centro de Rehabilitación Palms. Recientemente estaba luchando contra una enfermedad renal y se estaba sometiendo a diálisis.
Tío Ángel (como todo el mundo lo conoce) era un gran hombre de familia. Siempre preguntaba por todos sin importar por lo que estuviera pasando. Siempre estaba pensando en sus hermanos y hermanas y en todas sus sobrinas y sobrinos. Algunas de sus sobrinas y sobrinos lo llamaban abuelo. Tío le encantaba las Parrandas y tocar su instrumento favorito llamado "Cuatro".
Ángel le precede en muerte su esposa de 32 años Marianna Pérez. Le sobreviven sus hermanos Enrique Batista, Lerner Batista, Neftali Batista, Eloino Batista, Daniel Batista y Juan Batista. También le sobreviven sus hermanas Ana Rosa Batista, Elida Batista, Elsie Batista, y numerosos sobrinos y sobrinas.
El servicio memorial sera el viernes 9 de septiembre del 2022 en Ammen Family Cremation and Funeral Care 950 Malabar Road SE, Palm Bay, FL., visita de 5:00P.M. a 8:00 P.M.
