Obituary of Emma Bernice Hescht

Emma Bernice Hescht, 78, of Palm Bay, Florida, went to be with her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ, on Monday, August 15, 2022, after a long battle with Covid. She was born October 9, 1943, in Columbus GA, to James and Clara Pate, and attended Baker High School in Columbus, GA. She worked for Sandusky County as a Housekeeper in Fremont, OH for 23 years, retiring in 2000. Bernice enjoyed reading the bible, doing crossword puzzles, and shopping especially when buying things for others. She attended the Fremont Church of the Nazarene and Faith Baptist in Palm Bay. She enjoyed listening to Christian music, especially her favorite, One Day at a Time.

Bernice is survived by her husband of 58 years, Paul Hescht, Palm bay, FL; sons Douglas, Palm Bay, Brian (Stevie), Republic, OH; grandchildren Alison Schieber (Alex), Bloomville, OH; Amber Hescht, Tiffin, OH; great-grandchildren Braxton Schieber. Siblings, Ronald (Bonnie) Pate, Ellerslie, GA; Gene (Elsie) Pate, Columbus, GA; Sarah Clark, Opelika, AL.

She was preceded in death by both of her parents.
