I never heard of John’s passing until I saw a heavenly happy birthday post in 22. I knew John in Jr. high and high school. He was very talented in band on the trombone. he could pay jazz. At one time we all gave John the nickname of Hercules and Herc for him due to his huge arm muscles. that was at Rivera Jr. High School. Never knew what happened to him after he entered the Navy. Then he popped up on facebook living in Melbourne Beach, fl creating handmade carved pipes. He was just a nice guy. At graduation we walked up right behind each other because our last names started with F. It was in auditorium in downtown Miami. The World lost a kind and talented man.
