Obituary of Marie D. Bojanek

Marie D. Bojanek, 96, originally from Buffalo, New York, lived many years in Port Richey, Florida and recently of Palm Bay, Florida passed away at Life Care Center of Palm Bay on July 22, 2022. 

She was born on February 7, 1926 in Buffalo, New York to Francis and Teresa (Galasik) Dudek.

Marie is survived by her daughter Julie (Glenn) Gebhardt of Palm Bay, Florida; brother Victor Dudek of Cheektowaga, New York; granddaughter Joelle (Jameson) Evans of Warsaw, New York; grandson Kevin (Jessica) Casey of Warsaw, New York; great- grandson Ryan Evans of Warsaw, New York; and several cousins, nieces and nephews.

Marie was preceded in death by her loving husband Bernard, her beloved son John, her sister-in-law Beverly Dudek and nephew Michael Dudek of Cheektowaga, New York.

The family will receive family and friends at the Melvin J. Sliwinski Funeral Home at 5090 Transit Road in Depew, New York from 2 - 4 P.M. and 7- 9 P.M. on Monday, August 15, 2022.

Funeral services will be at St. John Gualbert Church on 83 Gualbert Ave. in Cheektowaga, New York on August 16, 2022 at 10:00 A.M. with funeral clergy officiating.

Interment will be at St. Stanislaus Roman Catholic Cemetery on Pine Ridge Road in Cheektowaga following the church service. A Polish meal will be shared in Marie's honor following the cemetery service. Family and friends will gather at Depew Polish Falcons at 445 Columbia Ave Depew, New York following the graveside prayers.

Memorials may be made to hospice in Marie's honor.
