Obituary of Martin Stephen Zimmerman

It is with great sadness that the family of "Marty" announce his passing on May 31, 2022, at Palm Bay Hospital in Florida.

Marty was born in Trenton, New Jersey (Mercer County) on December 4, 1951. Worked as a bus driver for a New Jersey Transit Company. 

He was a proud Vietnam veteran, a proud pop pop, a wonderful brother, and a great uncle. Marty loves riding his Harley motorcycle, country dancing, and bowling.

Marty is preceded in death by his parents, Martin & Jacqueline Zimmerman, and his daughter, Angela Zimmerman.

He is survived by his son Leeland; 4 siblings; Frank (Beverly) Zimmerman, Ilona Hiel, Carolyn Salay, and Mary Zimmerman; his grandson Eric; his nephews and nieces, Frankie Jr, Lynn, Bobby, Keith Jr., Dawn, Deanna, Jackie, and Barbie; his great-nephews and nieces, Dominique, Kayla, Ryan Jr., Gabriel, Freya, Chase, and Camron; by many cousins; his dear friends, in particular, Jim & Tina Kriegner and Robert Steiner. 

A funeral service will be held at Ammen Family Cremation and Funeral Care 950 Malabar Road SE, Palm Bay on Wednesday, June 8, 2022. Viewing from 12:00 p.m. to 2:00 p.m., followed by a service. Internment at Fountainhead Memorial Park 7303 Babcock Street SE, Palm Bay, Florida on Wednesday, June 8, 2022, at 3:00 p.m.
