Obituary of Ileen Mae Steyer

Ileen Mae Steyer, Ross, Macartney, 91 years old of Melbourne, Florida passed away on May 17, 2022 at Altantic Shores Nursing Home in Melbourne, Florida.

Ileen was born in Flint, MI to John and Carrie Ross on December 19, 1930. She went to Grand Blanc High School and graduated in 1948. She went on to earn an Associate degree from Mott Community College. She was a homemaker; she enjoyed raising her three children and spending time with her extended family. She was involved in her church and community. Her passions were music and traveling. She loved to sing and dance.

Ileen is survived by her daughter, Cheryl Macartney and son-in-law, Kevin of Melbourne and nephews Daniel, Edward, Gary and Wayne Ross. She is predeceased in death by her first husband, Samuel Macartney; second husband of 43 years, Theodore Steyer; daughter, Saundra Macartney; son, John Steyer; brother, Earl Ross; and nephew, Leonard Ross.

Burial services will be held at Florida National Cemetery in Bushnell, Florida on May 26, 2022 at 1:00 P.M.
