Obituary of Marquis Angelo St. Valentine Chambers
Marquis Angelo St. Valentine Chambers (born August 27, 1970) passed away on April 16, 2022, after bravely battling multiple ongoing medical conditions. He is predeceased by his sisters Judith and Sharon and his grandparents, Myrtle (Chambers) Lewis, Lilieth and Gilbert Rickman, and Jonathan Chambers, as well as his aunts and uncles, Mary Helene, and Lee.
Marq grew up in Manchester TWp., New Jersey, and leaves behind his parents - Hazel and Godfrey; children - Trevor, Breanna, Marquis Jr., and Matthew; and siblings - Michael, Dahlia, and Andrew.
When he was young, Marq was an active member of the Boy Scouts of America. As a teenager, he began serving as a volunteer EMT. At Manchester Township High School, Marq was a talented trumpet player in the marching band and a multi-sport record-holding athlete. He obtained a Bachelor's Degree in Chemistry from Rutgers University in New Brunswick, New Jersey. He enjoyed a career of over 25 years doing research and development, quality control, FDA compliance, and manufacturing in the pharmaceutical industry. His career took him from New Jersey to Ohio, California, and then to Iowa.
When his health began to decline, Marq transitioned to work in customer service, while pursuing entrepreneurial and creative endeavors and moving to Florida. Marq enjoyed shooting guns and shooting pool, public speaking, the great outdoors, movies, music, and comedy.
Funeral services are planned for May 22, 2022, at Ammen Family Cremation and Funeral Care, 950 Malabar Road SE, Palm Bay, Florida 32907. Viewing is from 10:00 A.M. to 12:00 P.M. and the funeral service begins immediately thereafter at 12:00 P.M.
