Obituary of Joshua Daniel Gladden

It is with great sadness that the family of Joshua Daniel Gladden announce his unexpected passing on March 21, 2022 at his home in Palm Bay, Florida at the age of 31.

Born on October 5, 1990 in Pensacola, Florida. Josh lived there for 9 years and then lived most of his life in Satellite Beach, FL. After graduating from Satellite High School in 2009, Josh attended Brevard Community College. He worked as a Hurricane Protection Technician. Josh excelled at his work and loved it.

Josh was a funny, kind, compassionate, and caring young man and a loyal friend to many. He was a loving husband, father, son, brother, grandson, nephew, cousin, and son-in-law. He loved roses, tattoos, boats, fishing, skateboarding, motorcycles, and thrill rides. Most of all, he loved sunrises at the beach.

He is predeceased by grandparents Daniel Farrell, Daniel Gladden, and Mary Lemme.

Joshua left behind three children Kayden Welch, Daniel Farrell, and Addalynn Farrell. He is also survived by his wife Leyah Carter; his mother Juanita Farrell; his sister Jessica Gladden; grandmothers Peggy Rose and Barbara Gladden; his mother and father-in-law Janice and Quintin Butler; his Great-Aunt Becky; Aunts Teri Rice, Alice Rice, Rhonda Rose (Frank), Cindy Gladden Garcia; two nieces Lilyauna and Arabella; and several cousins and in-laws.

There will be a celebration of Joshua's life at the beach (his happy place). Pelican Pavilion, Pelican Beach Park, 1525 Highway A1A, Satellite Beach, FL 32937 on Friday, May 27th from 3-7 P.M.

In lieu of flowers, the family has requested that donations be made to Space Coast Recovery in Cocoa, Florida.
