We were truly sad to receive the news that Jim passed away.
We only met Jim a few times, but each time we could observe his calm and kind nature. The first time we met Jim was when he drove his wife Angela all the way from Pennsylvania to Massachusetts to attend our son’s 1st Birthday party. Many years passed until we met again. When we visited Angela and Jim in Florida, Jim was, once again, very kind to us and our kids. He took us out for lunch to one of his favorite spots and we had one of the the most delicious seafood we’ve ever had.
It was always beautiful to see his sweet displays of love towards his wife and we could tell he was a caring husband.
Jim will be certainly missed.
We ask God to give comfort to the family.
Blessings,
Crys and George

Dad,
It is truly immeasurable how blessed I was to have you in my life from the moment I was born to the last moment we spent together the day before you left us.
I think about that moment often… It was the end of the movie “The Adam Project” (off all things). Near the end of the movie, the Dad reconciled the differences with his two boys, they cried together, and they had a game of catch. You were barely awake at this time, however, I glanced over at you for an instant and I was happy to see that you watched it. Shortly after, I held your arm and I told you that I loved you. You were able to gather enough energy to tell me the same and you embraced me before I left.
The difference between our relationship and those movie characters Dad, is that we had no differences to reconcile, and we had little to no regrets about the time we spent together. The times we were together with your grandsons, the times we spent on your porch, the time we spent talking on the phone, and the awesome adventures we had when I was a kid.
After I had children of my own, I started to understand the sacrifices you made for your three boys. These sacrifices you made for your children are incomprehensible for most. The last several years I always expressed this to you.
Near the end of your life with us, you were in incredible pain, you could barely walk, and you were still trying to take of your dying mother. You were an honorable man with endless courage.
You and Mom gave me a great childhood- I mean truly…. I had the best childhood any boy could dream of. You both gave me everything I needed to be successful in life, and I owe much of my career to being able to look up to your example of true work ethic.
I’m happy that you had love at the end of your life, and that you had someone by your side that cared about you and took care of you.
I’m not as honorable of a man as you are in dealing with the selfish-evil-nature of people we often encounter. Perhaps, this is one difference we had. I will look to your guidance in enduring some of the evil characters of this world with your same dignity and grace.
Dad, I could write 18 novels here, however, I told you everything when you were here. I am happy I was able to make you laugh over the years….Thank you, thank you so much. Thank you for everything. I will always think of you, and I will always miss you.

Dear Dad,
You were a big inspiration to me growing up. You were a strong person who taught me what it means to be a man. It was awesome to see how you were able to fix anything from go-karts to cars. Whenever anything broke, we always knew dad could fix it.
Being a computer programmer, I am about the exact opposite of a mechanic. I don’t think I could so much as fix a light bulb. But that doesn’t mean I didn’t learn anything from you. I learned how to have an absolute unwavering passion for a craft.
After you and mom divorced, we were separated for a period. But I never stopped thinking about you during this time. When I graduated from high school, you were there. This turned out to be one of the best things that ever happened to me.
I’m glad we were able to reconnect these past few years.
I know you are in heaven now, free from all the stresses of this world. Please enjoy your time up there.
With Love,
Mason Ashbridge

Amor Lindo, this is how we called each other, and I always will, because this is what you are in my life a Precious Love.
It is easy to speak about you, you were all love, grace, joy, my jewel (as always, I used to tell you), gentleman, wonderful husband, and father, easy going, loyal, kindness, for you the other always came first, a man that always strive for excellence, hard worker.
Life with you was a delightful journey, a gift from God every single day, and I am very grateful for having the grace to know you and share this life with you. I will miss our laughs for anything, especially when we use to recap our good or not so good moments that we went through together, and we used to say that we made it.
It’s being hard to be without you here, but I get it that God need a good Angel to be watching over us.
I love you very much and I always will. Be in peace.
Love Angie/Angela
