I first met Trey as a chubby, red-headed baby when I had Taylor in my class. He was always the most cheerful little guy, and according to Taylor, a good baby brother. Fast forward a few years, and I was given the opportunity to teach a gifted 3rd and 4th grade combo class. I remember running the permission slip out to the car loop and telling his mom "Sign this! I want him in my class!!" What a joy and a pleasure to have Trey for two years. He was the kindest old soul, who loved to read and took on the challenge of being in a class with older students with enthusiasm. The second year, he was one of the older students, the mentor, and continued to embrace every day with his quiet persistence. Then, just this spring, here is this little, red-headed boy, so grown up and taller than me, but still that quiet old soul. He reluctantly danced the "Cupid Shuffle", with that little grin he always had for me, after reminiscing about our days at recess and field days, and that is one memory I'll forever cherish. We want to ask why, but instead, I'm going to give thanks to the blessing Trey was to everyone he loved and who loved him.

Trey was my one of my first friends in highschool. We became best friends quite quickly and I’ve never felt more comfortable with a person than I was with him. He was always there for me as I was for him. He was so smart and the MOST kind hearted person I’ve ever met. He was my safe Haven. I’ll never forget our stupid inside jokes and the silly names we would call each other and smoke big doinks together and vent about all of our feelings.Trey didn’t have a single mean bone in his body. All of my good times are with Trey and I’ll always hold them dear to my heart. you will never be forgotten homie <3 was & always will be my best friend.

Trey was and always will be my bestfriend. We had been making plans to move in together just a few months from now… I still can’t believe he’s gone. I was lucky enough to make years worth of amazing memories with him and see so many sides to his beautiful soul. He was one of the kindest, funniest people you could ever meet… with such a contagious smile and thee GNARLIEST hair!
Trey, thank you for being my bestfriend. Thank you for all the conversations and laughter and inside jokes ( and showing me + Arthur TTIGRAAS and Kendamas of course ) Thank you for holding my secrets and letting me cry on your shoulder when things got too rough….and thank you even more for letting me do the same for you. Thank you for making so many people feel so happy and loved. Thank you for everything.
I know that you’re happy now and that’s one of the only things making this all a little easier. You’re probably up there showing Peep all of your coolest Kendama tricks. I love you so much. Arthur and I promise to live up to all the promises and plans we’ve made. You will NEVER be forgotten, ya hear me!!! I can’t wait to see what adventures we’ll have in the next life, Ginger. <3

Trey, my brother, our hearts are just broken. Thank you for all the good times, laughs, and memories made over the years. You were just an innocent, sweet 8 year old when your brother and I started dating. It has been a pleasure watching you mature into a great young man. I will forever cherish our memories together, until we meet again one day. P.s say hi too all those up there waiting on us ❤️

There are so many joyful moments Trey has blessed us with, he had this little crooked smile that he shared with everyone..he was so patient, kind and everyone else came first. He didn't even fuss when I gave him a haircut. There will always be a place in our hearts. Gone to soon. We will meet again. Luv Mama and Papa
