Obituary of Fred L. Robinson

Fred (Robbie) Robinson passed away peacefully at home on February 6, 2022, at 99 years of age. He was born in Philadelphia, PA on August 1, 1922, to Harry and Sarah Robinson. Predeceased by his brother, John Robinson, and his first wife Dorothy Robinson. Robbie is survived by his wife Carolyn Robinson, children Elaine Tipton, Steve (Brenda) Robinson, and Jeff (Lindsey) Robinson as well as stepchildren Jeff Shively, Debbie (Steve) Crossley, Robin Dodd, and Cindy (Paul) Stepina. He also has many beloved grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

Robbie is a Pearl Harbor Survivor, having served 30+ years in the United States Army and Air Force. After retiring from the military, he earned two associate's degrees from Eastern Florida State College (formerly BCC) and managed the Eau Gallie Yacht Club Bar before his full retirement took him to the links, spending most of his free time on the golf course. Robbie was an avid golfer and lifetime member at Rockledge Country Club, sharing his love of golf with his wife, Carolyn, and granddaughters.

A celebration of life will be held at Rockledge Country Club, 1591 S Fiske Blvd, Rockledge, FL 32955 at 10 am on Saturday, February 19th.
