Obituary of Elva Molina

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of our beloved matriarch, Elva Molina.

She passed on Saturday, January 29th, 2022 surrounded by her loved ones.

Elva was born in Guerrero, Mexico on March 2nd, 1942 to Pedro and Maria Hurtado. She grew up with her two younger brothers, Manuel and Javier Hurtado. Elva married her husband of fifty-eight years, Jorge Molina in December of 1964. Shortly after, they made their way to Florida and gave birth to their two daughters, Adriana and Leticia. Elva dedicated her life to caring for her family and always being the brightest light in our lives. She will be remembered for her selflessness, her amazing cooking, and her everlasting love for us.

Elva was preceded in death by her parents and is survived by her husband Jorge, their daughters Adriana Gallagher and Leticia Molina-Zizzo, her brothers Manuel and Javier, her son in laws, Dale Gallagher and Tony Zizzo, her granddaughters, Vanessa Bell, Chantel Gallagher, and Molina Zizzo, and several nieces and nephews.

Elva Molina’s service will be held at Ascension Catholic Church on Saturday, February 12th, 2022 at 11:00 am.
