Obituary of James R. Connelly

James R. Connelly (Jim) 68 years of Cocoa, Florida passed away on January 19, 2022.

Jim was born in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania to Anna Mae and James Connelly. He graduated from Gateway High School in Monroe Ville, Pennsylvania in 1971 and attended Edinboro University before moving to Fort Lauderdale, Florida. He spent more than 30 years with the Department of Transportation in Construction and Maintenance and retired as its Maintenance Manager.

He enjoyed fishing, motorcycle riding and traveling especially to Hawaii many times. He looked forward to leisure vacations, camping and cabin rentals and finding great places to eat his favorite meal – breakfast. He had a way of making people laugh and smile.

Jim is survived by his wife Raynette, siblings Peggy and Robert, Mother Anna Mae and numerous nieces and nephews.

There will not be a funeral service for Jim at his request.
