Obituary of Charles D. Campbell

Charles D. Campbell passed away on January 2, 2022.

 

He was born on August 26, 1932, to Charles Campbell, Jr., and Helen J. Devine.

 

He was preceded in death by his wife of 62 years, Lucretia A. Campbell, who died in March 2017.

 

His family includes daughter Susan Campbell, son Charles D. Campbell, Jr. and his wife Loren McCall-Campbell, and son John T. Campbell, M.D. and his wife Michele DeMusis, M.D.  He is also survived by grandchildren Kaitlin Campbell and her husband Christopher Wiser; James McGuiness; Elizabeth Heiden and her husband Ethan; Maura Campbell; Matthew Campbell; Colleen Campbell; Caroline Campbell; and great-grandchildren Emma and Luke Heiden.

 

Charles served in the United States Marine Corps in the Korean War.  He received his bachelor’s degree from Fairleigh Dickinson University and was a longtime owner of Machine Drives and Controls in Hartford and Norwalk, CT.  He moved to Florida over 20 years ago and was a member of Suntree Country Club. 

 

Services will be private.
