I remember Bobby doing his magic show at my brother's birthday party on the South Side when we were kids. Our parents were best friends for most of their adult lives - and it's hard to believe that now they're all gone, and we're the oldest generation. I'm so sorry I for all of you. This handsome, versatile, talented man left his mark on so many!

I am sorry to hear of Bob's passing. We were neighbors in Chicago and had the pleasure of catching up over lunch in Orlando a few years ago. Condolences to Janet and to Joe (who Bob insisted I see play on a trip to New Orleans).
May his memory be a blessing.

Margaret and Joe, I was so sorry to hear of Bob's passing. I met Bob in 1980 when we both worked at FIT. Eventually, we were both at Harris in the graphics department. He was always so kind and I appreciated his great sense of humor, quick wit, and positive attitude. We were fortunate to have him take our family Christmas card picture every year for more than 20 years. It was always great to see him and catch up, and we have wonderful photos from all those years thanks to him. He was so proud of you both and would always share happenings in your lives. You were blessed to have a wonderful father. Bob will be greatly missed by the many people who were fortunate to have him as a friend.
My deepest sympathy to you both.

My deepest sympathies to the family. I am very sad for the loss of Bob.
I met Bob in Cape Canaveral when he first came down to Florida in 1978. He lived with us in our house. On the picture, Bob is standing beside Ed Daroszewski, my boy friend, from Chicago also. Ed past away in 1983 at the age of 35.
RIP Bob and say Hi to Ed from me. Christyne

I met Lefty in a bar when we were both 27. He was sitting with 2 men also named ‘Bob.’ Lefty said “hi, we are Bob, Bob and Bob.” I immediately fell for the best, most handsome Bob. We dated briefly then remained close friends for over 40 years. I loved him dearly! Here we are at a sign wave in Cocoa. Bob shared a special night with me Nov 6, 2012. We attended an election watch party then went to my boat at 2:00A.M. to watch Obama’s brilliant victory speech. We were tired but elated. Lefty will always occupy an unassailable fortress in my heart. It is difficult to imagine my world without him.

Bob and I worked at Harris for many years. Being both born in Chicago we had many things in common. His conversations were always about how much he loved his precious children. Bob was one of a kind in everything he did. Rest in peace my wonderful friend.

Dear Joe and Margaret,
Your Dad was such a kind, gentle man. At the Temple he was such a steady presence during throughout the years, blowing the shofar and then passing on to you, Joe. He took our son’s picture at Harris when he won an award, and he knew how to get him to smile. He was so gentle and kind with our daughter, continuing through the years to stop and talk directly to her. We will never forget how we all would smile when he would walk into services with your grandparents, somehow it made us feel complete.
I am truly sad for your loss.
John, Paige, Nicholas and Emma Studer
May his memory be a blessing for you.

I knew Bob while at Harris. We worked side by side at many events while at Harris. He was a funny guy who brought humor even during stressful times, but always the consummate professional. Rest In Peace my friend.

Lefty (as we knew him) was the first to reach out to my husband when we moved to Florida in 1982, when he invited him to join in on the radio show at FIT called RG’s BBQ. Lefty was eager to learn how Tom arranged Ain’t Misbehaving and listening to the broadcast was such fun. We tried to catch as many gigs of Beeline as we could. Lefty was a real mensch as someone said. We valued his friendship and always will. He was one of a kind and we won’t forget him.

I was privileged to know Bob for many years, first at Harris and later as two old retired guys. We shared many interests: music, photography, politics, the environment. He was better at all of them and I learned a lot from him. I met Joe after Bob steered me to his gig in New Orleans. Later I met Diane, Margaret and Kimmie. I have yet to meet Max (or Schimbo).
We pounded the pavement for Democrats and savored the music at Open Mikes and Squid Lips but our finest adventure was the road trip to see the 2017 eclipse. We set up in park near my brother's house in Columbia SC. Bob had three tripods and a tent (where he could view the iPad that controlled one of the mounts). Needless to say, we drew a crowd. I'll post as many pix as I can here and put more on Facebook.
Between COVID and his cancer relapse, I didn't see much of him in the last two years. More than once we would plan an outing only to have Bob need to cancel; "I ran out of gas" he would say. I will miss him. My pagan prayers to his loving family. RIP, Bob.

Bob was a wonderful man. Blessed to have known him. I’m so sorry to his family, especially Joe and Margaret (he loved you so much and was so proud of you!) and all my fellow Brevard Dems.
