Denise was the only mail carrier that we were ever on a first names basis with. She was so faithful in delivering and so delightful each time we encountered her that we became very fond of her. We were happy when she got to go on trips and worried about her when she wasn’t feeling well. And we were really worried when “the Amazon packages started weighing more than she did.” She was a true jewel of a person.
We hope that those in her family who are left behind will be comforted by their memories of Denise and by the knowledge that she was loved and respected by her customers. She is much missed and has been since she last delivered for us.

I am so very sorry to hear that Denise has passed on. It's hard to imagine how someone with so much exuberance for life can be taken so early. I first met Denise at pottery class many years ago and then again at herb class. She and I became friends but unfortunately I hadn't seen her in a few years. Please accept my sincere condolences to her family and all who loved her.
