Obituary of Bonita "Bonnie" L. Ehler

Bonita L. Ehler, 73, passed away peacefully, Monday, November 29, 2021 at Viera Hospital in Melbourne, FL. with her daughter, niece and nephew by her side.

Friends and family are invited to call Sunday, January 2, 2022 from 4:00 to 6:00 PM at the Mull Funeral Home, 113 Virginia Street, Waterloo.  A memorial mass will be celebrated Monday, January 3, 2022 at 10:00 AM at Saint Mary’s Church, Waterloo. Burial will follow in Maple Grove Cemetery.

Bonnie was born August 17, 1948, in Waterloo, the daughter of Wilson and Eileen (Williamson) Hauf.  She was a 1965 graduate of Waterloo High School, and 1967 graduate of Syracuse Business School.  Bonnie was a Memory Care Director and administrator for many years for those in assisted living.  She loved to make new friends wherever she traveled to and riding on the back of a motorcycle.  

Bonnie is survived by her daughter, Theresa Erwin (David Weber); daughter-in-law, Jessica Mull; brother, Bernie (Sandra) Hauf, grandchildren, Amber (Caleb) Schussler, Brian Mull, Tyler Jones and Austin Ehler; nieces, Yvonne (Tom) Baley and Kim Turk; nephew,Jeff (Carol) Hauf; great niece and nephew;,Abigail and Jonah Hauf; and several cousins.

She is preceded in death by her parents and her son; George Mull.
