Obituary of Willie Berkley Jones

Willie Berkley Jones (Berk) 95 passed away on October 27, 2021, at home in Palm Bay, Florida. Willie was born in Axton, Virginia, mother Eliza Woody Jones Harris.

He is survived by sister Claudia Brooks from Michigan. Preceded in death by his siblings, Elmira O'Bryant, Juanita Dickerson, Jessie Jones, Sam Jones, and Henry Jones. Also preceded in death by his ex-wives, Myrtle Howard-Jones and Sophie Duttine-Jones. 

Willie served in War World II and retired with thirty-six years of service as a civil service airplane mechanic. 

He is survived by two daughters, Dorcas Moore, and Diana Matthews; six grandchildren, Theresa Moore, Oscar (Erica) Moore, Andrea Moore, Jeneen (Alvin) Moore-Henry, Tysha Moore, and Latasha Jones. Also eight grandchildren and seven great-great-grandchildren; many nieces, nephews, and other dear relatives and friends.

Memorial service will be announced at a later date.
