Obituary of Billy Joe Allen

Billy Joe Allen, 62, passed away on October 22, 2021, peacefully with his loving family by his side.  He was born in South Boston, Virginia and moved to Melbourne, Florida in 1961.

He was a Masonary specialist, Building & Construction skills extraordinaire and his last job was working with Durham & Sons HVAC Company.

He was a very loving and devoted Father, Grandfather, Son and Brother.  He was the type of man who would give you the shirt off his back and willing to help anyone in need.  He loved fishing with his Kids and Grandkids, working on cars, any handyman or fix it type hobbies and jobs.  One of his special talents was gardening.  He planted a rose bush for his mom 20 years ago in North Carolina that is now growing up the 60' Cypress tree and blooming roses out the top of the tree.

He loved Mountain Dew, Reeses Peanut Butter Cups, McDonalds Coffee and Pecan Twirls.  His favorite song is Lynard Skynards Free Bird.

He is survived by his wife, Shelia Allen; Daughter, Cynthia Allen; Step-Daughter, Erika Brown; nine Grandkids, Savannah, Brily, Faith (P-nut), Jacob, Ava, Tyler, Hunter, Carson, Dalton; two Great Grandkids, Ayden & Michael; his Parents, Leonard & Rosa Allen; Brother, Leonard & Geneva Allen Jr; Sister, Constance Allen Jain; Neices, Kerry McCain & Stella Jo Allen and Nephews, Alan & Zach Kine.

A celebration of life will be held later at a date and time to be determined.
