Obituary of Howard Rein (Hotch) Acker
Howard Rein (Hotch) Acker passed away October 12, 2021, at his home in Palm Bay Florida.
Hotch was born on October 17, 1952, in Bronx New York. He was a carpenter most of his life and the highlight of his career was working at Indian River Corrections teaching carpentry to help young offenders learn a trade.
Hotch is survived by his loving wife of 47 years Michele (Shelly) Acker and children Howard Acker, Derek Acker, and his wife Tina Acker, Ryan Acker, and his wife Theresa Acker. They have four granddaughters, Laci Sakamoto, Coral Sakamoto, Leah Acker, and Sophia Acker. He is also survived by his sister Christine Kane. sister-in-laws Laura Parsons, Denise Burchette and Kellie Lombardi, brother-in-laws Michael Lombardi, Mark Burchette, and Al Kane.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Howard and Ethel Acker, and also his brother Craig Acker and sister Maggie Acker.
Hotch enjoyed traveling with his family and was able to enjoy many memorable trips. He will be deeply missed by his family and all that loved him and his Lexie.
A funeral service will be held at 1:00 PM n Saturday, November 6, 2021, at Ammen Family Cremation and Funeral Care 950 Malabar Road Se, Palm Bay, Florida.
