Obituary of Raymond R. Ruel Sr.

Raymond R. Ruel Sr., 86, passed away on September 30, 2021.

Ray was married to Rita (Perry) for 37 years until her passing in 1996.

He was born in Lewiston, ME to the late Darius and Juliette (Jacques) Ruel. He moved to New Britain, CT in the early 1940's and attended schools there. He retired from Micron Company Inc. in 2000.

Ray is survived by his children, Robin (Brian) Watras of West Melbourne, FL with whom he made his home; Rhonda (Rodger) Bergeron Sr. of Raliegh, NC; Raymond (AnnMarie) Ruel Jr. of Middletown, CT and Rayne Ruel of Feeding Hills, MA; his sister Doris Charest of NC, his brother Dennis (Linda) Ruel of Maxon, NC and his sister Gail (Steven) Snow of Southington, CT; his grandchildren Rodger (Joanne) Bergeron Jr. of Bristol, CT, Matthew Bergeron of Coeur d'Alene. ID, Jessica Bergeron of Goldston, NC, Raymond (Alyssa) Bergeron of Cary, NC, Michelle Ruel of Philadelphia, PA, Melissa (Jason) Corriveau of Middletown, CT, Nikolas Lambert of Feeding Hills, MA and David Ruel of Feeding Hills, MA along with 6 great grandchildren and many cousins, nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his brother and sister in law Robert and Roseann Ruel and brother in law Lionel "Chris" Charest.
