Obituary of James John Nowak

 James John Nowak,  61, passed from this world on August 25, 2021.9.

He was born on May 27, 1960. Formerly of Sanford, Michigan, he moved to Palm Bay, Florida, to live out his golden years to enjoy his “Another Day in Paradise”.

Jim was a 1978 graduate of Swartz Creek High School in Swartz Creek, Michigan. Jim served a 4 year tour of duty in the United States Navy where he was trained as a radioman with top secret clearance. He then continued a career with MCI WorldCom for 18 years where he was a Shop Stewards for his Union Brothers. He worked for XO Communication for 15 years before he relocated to Florida to accept a position at L3Harris.

On August 30, 2012 he married Gloria Harris-Nowak and was a devoted and loving husband. She survives him along with his children, James Joseph Nowak of Fort Brag, NC, Nicole Lyn Garvie (Rob Garvie) of Gladwin MI, Samantha Ann Nowak (Zachery Shultz) of Gladwin MI, Jessica Lois Nowak (Joseph Shuler) of Sanford MI, Alexandra May Nowak (Daniel Youmans lll) of Sanford, MI, and stepson Michael David Riddle (Jennifer Riddle) of Bay City, MI, sister Vicki Nowak-Neumann (aka Lou) of Flushing MI, and brother Jeffery Joseph Nowak of St. Ignace, MI along with many aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.  He was a devoted grandfather to Chloe, Seth, Tyler, Kyrie, James, Joleen, Aria and Andrew.

He was proceeded in death by his mother Lois Campeau, father Robert Nowak, and brother John Nowak.

Jim loved his family with his whole heart and would do anything for them. His friends admired Jim for his dedication to everything he accomplished in his life.

We would like to thank the medical staff at Melbourne Steward Health Center Hospital for their tireless efforts to keep our loving husband, father and friend with us.

Jim you are in your Paradise now and you will be in our hearts forever and ever!

We are planning a memorial service on Saturday, September 11, 2021 at Sanford Lake, Sanford, Michigan, starting at 12 noon.
