Obituary of Mary Rose Willard
Mary Rose (Brown) Willard, 80, passed away on August 23rd at William Childs Hospice House. She was the widow of John R. Willard. They shared 42 love filled years of marriage together.
Born in Lowell, Massachusetts, on September 3rd, 1940, she was the daughter of Harry C. Brown and Anna M. Desautells. She worked at Advanced Quick Circuits in Melbourne, Florida for 23 years, then went on to become a CNA at Southland Suits and retired at the age of 72.
She was an avid doll collector, and she enjoyed cooking and decorating her home. She will be remembered for her straightforward personality, her hard earned wisdom, and her dedicated work ethic. Her many nieces and nephews all hold fond memories of their Auntie Rosie.
She is survived by two brothers, two sisters, four daughters, Anna M. Jenkins, of Melbourne, Marilyn E. Parente, of Bunnell, Linda L. Willard, of Melbourne, and Tina R. Willard, of Nashville, as well as 13 grandchildren, and 24 great-grandchildren. She will be joining five brothers, her parents, and her husband in her heavenly home.
The funeral service will be held on Monday, August 30th at Ammen’s Funeral Home, at 950 Malabar Road SE, Palm Bay, FL 32907, with interment at Fountainhead Memorial Park. The visitation will be held from 10:30 AM to the time of the service.
