I met Charlie Jackson in the mid 1980s when I was with a company called Westronic Inc., in Calgary, Alberta. Charlie made several visits to our facility as we pursued joint opportunities with Harris. I was also fortunate enough to accompany Charlie on several visits to customers over the years. In 1992, Harris acquired Westronic and that of course meant Charlie had an even more prominent role in our direction. Charlie became most familiar to our Management, Sales, Marketing and Application Engineering teams, but his influence was felt by all. He certainly had a key role in the evolution and success of our Calgary group. My condolences go out to Mary, Charlie’s family and his many friends.
