As the younger sister of Christine Doetsch (one of Denise’s dearest friends throughout life), I was so shocked and saddened to hear of Denise’s passing.
Denise, was such a cheerful, loving, and faith filled person and always had words of wisdom and encouragement. I still have the little Angel that she gave me when our mom passed away. I will always remember the close friendship Denise and Christine shared and thought of her as my friend too. The two Angel friend are together again, may they guide us in this life until we can all be together again.

Denise was a sweetheart, and my dearest friend for over 40 years. She was my former sister in law, and we referred to each other as "Sister-friend"! Denni a/k/a Sis, was always accessible to me, and her niece/god-daughter Danielle. As we both went through life's up and downs, she was always a rock. She was always there to offer appropriate advice, listen, and/or pray with me. I will truly miss you, my sister-friend!!
I already miss your daily phone calls and text's. I will miss our vacations together, sharing stories about our kid(s) and grandkids! I will miss our beach excursions, craft making, Disney trips and dinners! I will miss the loving way you listened and poured out your heart to me. I am confident you had a direct and non-stop trip to heaven! Your strong faith in God showed in the way you lived your life on a daily basis. You raised thoughtful, loving and hard working children. You gladly spent precious time teaching and playing with your grand children. They will all cherish those memories as they get older.
Sis, you absolutely made a positive difference in this world. We are all blessed knowing you will watch over each us, your earthly family!. I will of course miss growing older with you as my kindred spirit. But, I take solace in the love we shared. Rest well my sweet sister!!! Love you! Laura Nelson-Davies

I’ll be always grateful to God for His blessing of a good visit with Denise a few months ago - I can still hear her wheezy giggles as we shared jokes and puns and the ironies of life! She was a precious, vibrant friend and bonus mom to my kids - I remember in 2000 when she stepped in for me, to shepherd my daughter Rachel through her senior portrait session at Mount St Mary in Little Rock - how she was the on-site mom for daughter Emily when at 20 years old she struck out to begin a new life in Florida - and especially how she led her kids in caring for the tiny foster baby whom we would later adopt as our own. Denise never ceased praying for my kids, and I am grateful that she is now joyfully carrying on her ministry of love and intercession for us all.

I only got to know Denise on a personal level not to long ago. But always knew her as Brittany’s mom and of course CJ’s Maymay. She along with Brittany changed my life and because of that also changed for my husband (Chris ) and our grandson ( Tanner ) who we raise as our own child. She took the time to share with my about her Catholic faith in a time where I was searching for a school for Tanner. Long story short my grandson started at Ascension and I became confirmed Catholic and both Tanner and I were Baptized together. As I continue my journey of faith I will always think of Denise and Brittany as Gods messengers to me. I am so very thankful God put her in my life.

Dennie, my forever friend. This isn;t the end, although I miss you more than I thought possible. We talked about mansions in Heaven next door to each other. Save one for me! I love you (present tense) dearly….to Heaven and back. See you again.

I have never been good with saying Goodbye….
I will miss your posts with all your beautiful creations…your posts about your amazing Grandkids….the posts about spending time with your family…going out to lunch together, even if it was only once a year or so…talking about our time at GSI…you coming in with your crochet needles and other craft projects…lol….we had some great times together…
This caught me totally off guard and I still cannot quite believe it. But I know you will make heaven even more beautiful with your NeverEnding creativity….until we meet again!!

Dennie was a dear friend for almost 20 years and will be truly missed. Some nights we would talk on the phone for hours after not being in contact for a while and my biggest memories are her tales of her children and grandchildren who she adored and treasured. Blessings to her dear family during this difficult time!

My heart is heavy as I say an earthly goodbye to a 30 year friendship. Oh the places we’ve gone, the situations we’ve shared and good and bad we’ve encountered. We’ve laughed and cried. You will be missed and remembered for being you. The memories will keep your children and grandchildren moving forward. You have given them the gift of being a part of you. Rest In Peace without pain, worry or question friend. See you later…
