When I was the assistant principal at Rockledge High one of the great joys was working with Pat Adams. She was such a classy lady who was loved by everyone she touched. We actually became very close. We even travelled to St.Louis together to represent our school at a conference. I recall we went to the great arch to travel to the top. As we approached the little cars to take us to the top I saw how small and cramped they were. I am very claustrophobic. But Pat calmed my nerves and got me into the car and all was well. I also recall how I convinced Pat to become a chaperone for the Grad Nite at Disney World. She never forgave me! Pat would do anything for the students! She was awesome. Of course I also knew Woody very well as we both were administrators. He was highly respected and greatly admired and just a wonderful person to be around! May they both Rest In Peace!
