Obituary of Sheila Erin White

It is with great sorrow that we announce the passing of our mother, Sheila Erin White, on July 10, 2021.  Mom was a fighter, but this was not a fight she could win. She passed with the love of her family around her, and with the prayers of family and friends to guide her on her way.

She was predeceased by her father, Stanley and leaves behind her mother Nelda, sister Staria, and brothers Stan, Mark and Todd, children Krystal, Gregory, Steven and Starra, grandchildren Chancellor, Thomas, Megan, Christian, Kaylee and Ayanna, and great-granddaughter Jordan.

I do not have to tell you the kind of person she was, if you knew her, you already know. If you knew her from a long time ago, except for becoming a homebody, she had not changed. Vocabulary like a sailor or scholar, depending on the occasion. Fierce loyalty and love for those in her tribe. Listening ears and open arms for anyone that needed them.

Mom was, without a doubt, our North Star, and I do not think any of us know how we are going to navigate without her. And those words would make her mad, because if there is one thing she believed in wholeheartedly, it was us, and our capability to do anything we set our minds to. Plus, I promised her we would be okay. We know she would want us to work together as a team to get through this trying time, and the days ahead without her, and this we will do.

She will be missed by all who knew her, but never forgotten.
