Obituary of Richard L. Deese, Sr.

Richard L. Deese, Sr. passed away peacefully on Friday, July 9, 2021 in the William Childs Hospice House.   He took his spot in heaven after an exhausting battle with cancer for more than 2 ½ years.  

Richard was born in West Palm Beach, Florida where he lived and worked most of his life.  He was a hardworking man that lived to provide for his family.  He was a carpenter by trade and always had a plan for fixing or making something.   He had a passion for being outside working in his workshop and tending to his flowers and garden.  He loved only two things more than his wife and kids:  Disney World and Family Reunions.  He was kind, social, creative and inventive.  He never met a stranger and LOVED to talk to anyone that would listen. 

Richard is survived by his wife, Judy Deese; daughters, Angela Sheehy and Shannon Collier;  son, Richard Deese Jr.; son-in-law, Kevin Sheehy; grandsons, Bryan Mercurio and Riley Sheehy;  granddaughter, Amber Collier; and great grandson Logan Mercurio. 

A private celebration of life is planned for his immediate family.
