Obituary of Gloria Ann Carfi
GLORIA ANN CARFI of MELBOURNE, FL passed away on June 16, 2021 at the age of 76 at WILLIAM CHILDS HOSPICE HOUSE in PALM BAY, FL.
GLORIA ANN CARFI was born in PEEKSKILL, NEW YORK and adopted to WINONA WUND AND ALBERT WUND on September 3, 1944.
She decided to move to MELBOURNE, FLORIDA in 1979 with her children in hopes to provide a better life for them and herself.
Gloria had a huge love for all animals, nature and her family. She also had a passion of Marilyn Monroe Memorabilia. She had a love for horses that was surprisingly later found in her biologic family roots. She loved birds, especially red cardinals.
She left behind her little love, that never left her side, her 12 year old long haired Chihuahua named Lily. Lily will remain with family, cared for and very much loved. GLORIA loved all people and was so very kind. She always found the good in everyone. She was witty and had such a great sense of humor. She loved to shop, talk to people, she always found conversation with anyone she immediately met. She was know for her friendliness, heart of gold, infectious smile, kind and compassionate spirit. She would give even if it met she did without. She loved her children so much and was always there for them and would help them in anyway she could. She also loved and valued all her friendships she ever made.
GLORIA ANN CARFI was a loving mother, grandmother, great grandmother and survived by her 6 children, Anna M. Vizard (Anthony Haney), Arthur T. Carfi (Alexandra), Gene P. Baker (Rachel), Jeannine Carfi-Arnold (Missing person), Jennifer Lynn (Larry), Frank Carfi, Also, 14 grandchildren and 3 great-grandchildren.
Gloria was preceded in death by her father, Albert Wund, and her mother, Winona Wund. The love of her life Kevan M. Kamer. Her brothers Albert C. Wund and George Ferrante.
A “Celebration of Life” will be held on July 11th, 2021 starting at 2:00 pm.-8:00 pm. At Ballard Park at 924 Thomas Barbour Dr. Melbourne, Fl 32935. Please come join her family. We will be having a big BBQ with lots of food and beverages.
Those who would like to stay a little later when the sun sets and partake, we will be sending up Lanterns in Gloria’s honor.
