We wanted to share one of many funny memories.
We got to dad and mom’s (Dal & Kay) on Christmas Eve and Brian took a Christmas morning walk. When he went past Aunt Ermina and Uncle DeWitt’s house he decided to stop in and knock on the door to let them know we were in town. When Aunt Ermina opened the door, Brian, assuming she recognized him, jokingly asked if they had any extra Christmas gifts for the local prison. Aunt Ermina told him to get away from them and slammed the door! Brian came back to my parent’s house right away. But before he got there, Aunt Ermina called my parents to warn them some man was going around the neighborhood asking for Christmas gifts and she had already called the police! We all got a good laugh with Aunt Ermina and Uncle DeWitt when we went to their house later that morning. Gosh, we’re all going to miss them both so much!
