Obituary of Francesco Traina

Francesco Traina, 65, passed away Friday, May 21, 2021 at Palm Bay Hospital with his wife by his side.

Born in Ribera, Sicily, Italy on January 16, 1956, to Caterina (Palminteri) of Italy and the late Liborio Traina.

He was the beloved husband of Barbara J. (Stanyard) Traina, loving father of Liborio and Gaetano Traina, Caterina Aponte, Gabriella Traina, Heather Tritt, Richard Ducat, beloved brother of Michele (Maria) and Maurizio (Sonia) Traina. Loving grandfather of 10 grandchildren.  Francesco is survived by his former spouse, Laura (Giordano) Grandini.

Francesco was a gifted Italian pizza chef and was the former owner/operator of Stella's Italian Restaurant in Palm Bay for 14 years.  His presence & his love for his family and friends will be deeply missed.

A visitation will be held Thursday, May 27, 2021 from 1:00-3:00pm followed by a 3:00pm Funeral Service officiated by Chaplain Karen Hallett at Ammen Family Cremation and Funeral Care, 950 Malabar Road SE, Palm Bay.
