Obituary of Iva Marie Myers

Iva Marie Myers passed away peacefully on May 19, 2021 in Melbourne Florida.

 

She was born in Cairo Egypt, the daughter of Guido and Dionisia Fontana Rusciano.  She was married to Donald McGinley Myers for 52 years until his passing in April of 2008.

 

Iva was a devoted daughter, wife, and mother.  She will be remembered for her loving soul, sweet disposition, and sacrifice in the caring of both her parents and husband during their final years.  She had done this while never failing her children’s education, growth, and well-being.  She always greeted everyone with a smile, which was an attribute most often noticed, even into her final days.  During her life, she was passionate about learning, volunteering in her church activities (Holy Name of Jesus), and engaging in many artistic pursuits.  She participated in a variety of local clubs, such as the Italian, Rare Fruit Growers, and Miniatures Enthusiasts.

 

Iva is survived by her children Alan Guy Myers, Steven Lloyd Myers, and Audrey Denise Bernstein.  She is also survived by five grandchildren and one great grandchild.

 

A family memorial service and burial will be held at a later date at the Holy Name of Jesus Church & Memorial Gardens, Indialantic, Florida.
