Obituary of Beverly Ross

Beverly Ross, a loving mother and grandmother, passed away on Saturday, March 27, 2021.  She was born to William C. Gallivan and Agnes Hurteau Gallivan on February 19, 1931 in Malone, NY.  She grew up in Malone and graduated from Saint Joseph's Academy.

 

She was married to E. Robert "Bob" Ross for 42 years and had six children.

 

Beverly was always the mainstay for her family as her husband's career took them to live in different areas of New York State, Florida, Massachusetts and Belgium.  Her passion for redecorating always made each new place the perfect home.  In her later years, she moved to Dallas, Georgia and then to Melbourne, FL. Beverly was a talented artist who enjoyed oil painting and sewing. She also enjoyed playing cards, scrabble and hosting gatherings with family and friends.

 

She is predeceased by her parents, son David Ross, brothers William "Bill" Gallivan, and Darrel Gallivan, sisters Patricia Brennan and Alethea Davis.

 

She will be sadly missed by her children, Donna Lamb (Martin), Rob Ross (Marcia), Jim Ross (Deb), Bill Ross, Sandra Becker (Stephen), her grandchildren, Piia, Patrick, Cheryl, Mary, David, Shannon, Clare, Kevin, Samantha, Stephen, Sebastian, 9 great grandchildren and many nieces and  nephews.

 

A service will be held at a later date at Our Lady of Mercy Catholic Cemetery in Miami, Florida.
