Obituary of Christian Deihl

On Wednesday, March 3, 2021, our beloved Christian “Christy” Deihl passed away with her family by her side.

Christy was born on September 19, 1977, in Fort Polk, Louisiana.

Christy loved life. Her family and friends meant the world to her. She was everyone’s biggest fan and always saw the best in people. Especially her husband and sister. She loved kids and would often spend her time babysitting and playing games with them. She enjoyed listening to country music, doing arts and crafts, and just being with those she loved.

Christy was preceded in death by her mother, Crista Walker, father, John (Sue) Struchen, father-in-law, Robert (Trisha) Deihl, her grandparents, Edward and Martha Struchen, Wanda Garra and Elvin Davis, and many loved ones. 

Christy is survived by her high school sweetheart and husband of 14 years (Together 25) Robert G. Deihl Jr., sister, Tiffany (Tya) Struchen, mother-in-law, Doris (Tom P) Deihl, sisters in law, Doris (Larry) Cudney, Trisha (Matt) Dautrich, Beverly (Joel) Bookhagen, brother in law, Sammy (Stephanie) Deihl, aunts, Renee (Bill) Allgeo, Linda (Larry) Owens, uncle, Kerry Davis, and numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins.
