Daddy may your soul rest in peace! Merciful father and lord of life we thank you for the blessings of body and the soul that you granted to Edward Poorandatt, whose earthly remains we lay to rest. We rejoice in your gracious promise lord, that dad is with you in heaven, he is our guardian angel watching over us. Dad we thank you for your unconditional love, the morning prayers and for the strength you gave us, additionally may you feel our eternal love for you. Our heartfelt sympathy and sincerest condolences to Melos, His three daughters, their Mom and his extended family. As a family member we fondly know him as "Bayo". He came from a culture that valued hard work and he continued that lifestyle when he moved from his native Guyana to Brooklyn, NY. On one of his visit to his Brooklyn home we saw how he loved his three little girls. As I write this message I am looking in my yard seeing the Blooming lemon grass shrub which he gave us when we visited his home in Miami. We also proudly hung in our living room two small autographed paintings with nature scenes which he gave us when we visited him and Melos at their home in Kissimmee. A true admirer of the earth and nature. He was a dedicated gardener growing plants in pots when he did not have access to a yard, as he did around his Kissimmee home. He was civic minded, conservative and patriotic and would go out of his way to help others, even strangers. On the telephone, as we talked, I detected his personal sentiments and intense concerns for the elderly and the less fortunate. As a family member, whom I knew since I was very young his visits to our (his aunt's) home will long be cherished in my memory and he will surely be missed. May God bless his soul and may he rest in peace in Nirvana for all eternity. Indra, Jay Milland and Family, Winter Garden, Florida.
