Obituary of Christopher J. Powers

Christopher J. Powers, age 63, of Palm Bay, Florida passed away on Tuesday, January 12, 2021. Son of the late John F. and Rose M. Powers.

Children, John Powers, Barefoot Bay, Keri (Brian) Bednarski, Horseheads, NY, Kristin Tremblay, Elmira, NY;  Stepchildren, Amanda Gilstad, West Melbourne, Jerrica Fullen, Ormond Beach, Mystina O'Buckley, Florida, Chris O’Buckley, Florida, Kimberly O'Buckley (Greg) Potter, NC.  Grandchildren, Donovan King, Saul Gilstad, Amy Gilstad, Cameron Fullen, Caleb Fullen, Alexia Bednarski, Camden Bednarski, James Bednarski, Joseph Tremblay, Jordyn Tremblay; niece, Kelli (James) Price, Melbourne, FL; nephews, Brian (Elezia) Powers, Melbourne, FL and Timothy (Dominique) Powers, Melbourne, FL; Beloved Cat, Lucipur Fuzznuts.

Chris was a maintenance man, worked in construction, and plant operations for nursing homes. He loved playing his drums and playing wheel of fortune. His favorite vacation destination was the Great Smoky Mountains and he loved getting back rubs which he asked for every day.

A viewing will take place on Friday, January 22, 2021 from 5 – 7 pm followed by the service at 7 pm at Ammen Family Cremation and Funeral Care, 1001 Hickory St. in Melbourne.
